(LANDOVER, MARYLAND – )  The Bowie State University track and field teams competed in the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational held in the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Center. No team scores were recorded.

            On the women’s side, Damara Parrish placed fourth in the long jump (5.48 meters), fifth in the women’s 60 meter dash (7.79) and ninth in the 200 meter dash (25.63).  Jennifer Geter came in fifth in the 400 meter dash and Kiera Watson placed fifth in the triple jump.

            Aaron Johnson had a ninth place finish in the men’s high jump (2.00 meters) and Jason Linnear placed tenth in the men’s triple jump (13.34 meters) to round out BSU’s top 10 finishers.
