Web site Inside Black College Sports objective is to report the news and create interest in sports play at Historical Black Colleges and Universities. The degree to which we can
accomplish this objective on an individual institution level is determined by the contribution
of  that institution's Sports Information Official. Inside Black College Sports  is not about being
black or white but sports play at HBCUs.

  • To be straight forward,  I'm not a writer therefore sporting news on this  web site will be A/V News Reports and releases from others who are writers.   We go to the games, report on the play and interview coaches and players.

  • We accept sporting news releases from HBCU and the teams they play.

  • We accept HBCU educational releases which are posted as resources permit.

  • Release containing a video link to a school's non-commercial web site will be include in the release.

  • The text, pictures, and video on this web site are not in the public domain and all rights are reserved to IBCS and copy write holders.

WE always endeavor to incorporate the latest innovations into this web site. We have been  working to increase the accessibility of  sports clips on this site to those with lower bandwidth connections. Increasing accessibility  involves integrating new and  existing software,  which has proved a  challenge.

When the play button is activated  the video window  will deliver its content in
 a slide show format incorporating audio, text and video. As the presentation plays
 if  the text ends in © then an associated video clip is included.  To play the clip 
pause the player , the middle button, and click the  picture. Activating the  hyperlink
 will open a new window which will play the clip. After the clip has played you can
 close the new window and return to the main presentation. High bandwidth 
connections will be provide a separate presentation with a higher quality video clip.
