Union University's Vicki Collier scored 20 points and grabbed 15
rebounds while teammate Danielle Ferguson scored 10 points and pulled
down 10 boards to lead the Lady Panthers to an 82-76 win over
Livingstone College on Saturday, January 14, in Barco-Stevens Hall in
Richmond, Va.The win marked the first CIAA win on the season for VUU.
VUU freshman Melyce Freeman scored 15 points while teammate Ashle Freeman added 13 points in the win.
Livingstone was paced by Kelcyn Manurs 23 points.
The win raised VUU's record to 4-8 overall and 1-3 in the CIAA. Livingstone fell to 5-10 overall and 1-3 in the CIAA.
VUU now faces Johnson C. Smith University on Monday, January 16, at 5:30 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
