Union University's Valentina Wheeler scored 14 points and grabbed 13
rebounds, but Division-I Liberty University defeated the Lady Panthers
82-37 on Thursday, December 15, in Lynchburg, Va.Wheeler hit six of 14 shots from the field while teammate Vicki Collier added 11 points in the game.
Liberty was led by Avery Warley's 22 points and 11 rebounds.
The loss dropped VUU to 2-5 on the season while Liberty is now 5-5.
Virginia Union now travels to Mount Olive, N.C., to face Mount Olive College at 4:00 p.m. on December 17.
