Lady Hawk leads team to a perfect 10-0 mark at their second MEAC North Meet.

NORFOLK, Va.-Anggie Ramirez (Bogota, Colombia) received her third straight nod as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowling Athlete of the Week the league announced on Tuesday. Ramirez led the nation's top-ranked team to a perfect 10-0 mark at their second MEAC Northern Division Meet this past weekend in Baltimore, Md.

She averaged a 200.4 with a pinfall of 1,002 over five team games, tallying 200 or better in four of those five, including a 221 in the win over Delaware State and a team high 220 in the win over Coppin State.

Ramirez also saw action in all five of the Hawk's Baker-format matches.

The wins move UMES to 20-0 in conference play this season and 37-9 overall. They are off until January 13-15, 2012 when Ramirez leads them into the Mid-Winter Classic in Little Rock, Ark.
