Gorman Named CIAA Softball Player of the Week David Hodge 04/13/11 HAMPTON, VA – A 10 RBI performance against St. Paul's College on April 4th propelled Chowan first baseman Tricia Gorman to be named CIAA Softball Player of the Week (April 3rd-April 9th). This marks the second time this season that Gorman has collected the honor. Against St. Paul's, she went 5-6 with two doubles and a home run, leading to those 10 RBI. For the week, Gorman hit .533 while striking out only once. The Hawks will travel to Bowie State University tomorrow for a CIAA doubleheader with the Lady Bulldogs.
