Gorman, Munro lead Hawks in Softball Statistical Categories David Hodge 04/08/11 INDIANAPOLIS, IN – The Chowan University Softball team has three players ranked in the Division II top 30 nationally in a range of categories. Highlighting the rankings is Tricia Gorman, who currently is #3 in RBI per game, at 1.43. Her 57 total RBI is best in Division II. Fahren Munro is averaging 0.85 stolen bases per game, good for 15th place. Her 0.30 sacrifice hits per game and 1.15 runs scored per game each place her in a tie for 26th place. Munro and teammate Mindy Byrd have each hit three triple this season, which is tied for 13th most in the country. The softball team will travel to St. Andrews College this Saturday for a non-conference doubleheader. They currently own a 25-17 record, and 14-1 in the CIAA.
