Albany State’s Blunt wins HSRN National Player of the Week honor

Thanks to Albany State University basketball fans, Golden Rams junior forward Demarcus Blunt was named the Heritage Sports Radio Network’s (HSRN) National Player of the Week award for his outstanding performances last week.

The Cordele, Ga. native led the Golden Rams with 41 points, averaging 20.5 points and 10.5 rebounds, in games against Paine College and Benedict College. He averaged three steals and a block.

HSRN honors the top basketball performances for Division I and Division II each week. Fans across the country get to cast votes for the player they think had the top performance in HBCU basketball.
