LADY VIKINGS TOP CENTRAL STATE 76-56 ECSU’s Win Streak Extends to Five Games April J. Emory December 4, 2010 WILBERFORCE, OH- The Elizabeth City State University Lady Vikings improved to 5-2 overall as with a 76-56 win over Central State University Saturday afternoon at the Ben Waterman Classic. The win extends ECSU’s win streak to five games as they have not dropped a game since the season’s opening weekend. Kenyatta Gill led the way for ECSU with her second double-double in as many games with game highs of 18 points and 14 rebounds. She also tied a career best dishing out 7 assists. Briana Glover scored a season high 12 points off the bench while Shatara Jackson netted double figures for the second straight game with 11 points. The Lady Vikings outscored CSU 45-33 in the second half after leading by eight (31-23) at halftime. ECSU will take the floor again on Sunday, December 12th when they host Washington Adventist University at the RL Vaughan Center. Game time is scheduled for 3:00pm.
