#22 Clayton State Rolls by Chowan at Chick-Fil-A Classic‏
DAHLONGEGA, GA - The Chowan University women's basketball team remains winless on the year after falling to #22 Clayton State University 89-48 in second day action at the Chick-Fil-A Classic hosted by North Georgia. Clayton State came into the weekend classic ranked #21 in NCAA DII polls and proved today exactly why they are one of the top teams in the country. Chowan got 11 points from Talaya Lynch but as a team the Hawks struggled from the floor, hitting just 29% from the field in the game. Clayton State hit shots at a 49% clip in the game and scored 28 of their points off of Chowan turnovers. 
Nine different Chowan players scored points in the game with Lynch leading the team at 11 points. Patricia Price scored seven points and Jennifer Hamilton chipped in six points. Chowan committed 26 turnovers and got out rebounded 53 to 26 in the game. CSU scored 25 points in transition and with 24 offensive rebounds was able to get 18 put back points. 

Chowan (0-3) will return home to host Bluefield State College on Tuesday, November 23rd in a 5:30pm tip off. Log on to www.gocuhawks.com to follow the game.
