In additional to great NCAA Division II football action on Saturday, Nov. 27, the basketball Rams invite Albany State University fans to check out great basketball action. The Lady Rams and Golden Rams will open SIAC play as they take on the Miles College Bears on Saturday. The women’s game will tip-off at 6 p.m. at HPER Gymnasium Arena, followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m. The original game times of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. were changed because of the NCAA football playoff game, according ASU athletics administrators.

“There is going to be a lot of excitement at Albany State on Nov. 27. We have the big football game at 1 p.m. and then we’ll take it to the hoops in HPER Gymnasium at 6 p.m.,” said Dr. Richard H. Williams, ASU athletics director. “We want all of our fans see our Lady Rams and Golden Rams in action after the football game. We have a lot of talent on the courts and we need our fans’ support to cheer them to victory.”

Before Saturday’s game, the Lady Rams will play Clayton State University on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at 5:30 p.m. at ASU’s HPER Gymnasium. The Golden Rams will travel to Valdosta, Ga. on the same day to face on the Valdosta State University Blazers at 7:30 p.m.
