BOWIE STATE’S DUKE CREWS VOTED HERITAGE SPORTS RADIO NETWORK NATIONAL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Hartly, DE – The Heritage Sports Radio Network (HSRN) National Player of the Year fan poll results are final and Bowie State University senior forward Duke Crews was voted as the HSRN Division II Player of the Year. 

Crews (6-8, Senior - Forward – Hampton, Va.), is the only player in the CIAA that averaged a double-double, recording 16.8 points and 10.3 rebounds per game. In addition, he ranks second in the conference in blocked shots, averaging 2.5 per game. The final results are Crews – 477; Najee Lane (Clark Atlanta) – 166.

HSRN developed the fan poll to get all HBCU alumni, students and fans involved with the national process and to also give everyone a chance to consistently keep up with the individual performances around the country.
