Players, coaches and fans can watch the NCAA Bowling selection show live on-line.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md.-The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) women's
bowling team will be tuned into the internet today at 4:00 p.m. as the NCAA Women's
Bowling Committee will select the eight team field for the 2010 NCAA Championship.
The field will be announced during a live selection show webcast on NCAA.com

The Lady Hawks, currently ranked no. 1 in the latest National Tenpins Coaches
Association (NTCA) poll are coming off a heartbreaking defeat to the hands of the fifth-
ranked Hornets of Delaware State for the 2010 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
(MEAC) Championships. UMES defeated DSU four games to three in round one but fell
by the same score in the second game, giving the Hornets their second straight title.

With the exception of DSU, the Hawks dominated the conference, sweeping MEAC
Player (Maria Rodriguez), Rookie (Anggie Ramirez) and Coach (Sharon Brummell) of
the Year honors. They also placed Paula Vilas and Martha Perez on the first-team and
Kristina Frahm on the second team.

UMES has made every NCAA Tournament since the championship's inception in 2004.
The Hawks won the National Championship in 2008 and were runner-up in 2007. Last
season and the first three years, the Hawks finished seventh at the event.

Should UMES make the field they will compete April 8-10 at the Brunswick Zone
Carolier Lanes in North Brunswick, New Jersey. The event is hosted by eighth-ranked
New Jersey City University.
