Haley receives honor with four other players.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.-University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) red-shirt
sophomore Hillary Haley (Oxon Hill, Md.) was named to the Mid-Eastern Athletic
Conference (MEAC) Men's Basketball All-Tournament Team, the league announced.

Haley, who scored 25 points (20 in the first half) in a 64-58 opening round win over
Coppin State, also netted 13 in a quarter-final loss to eventual tournament runner-up,
South Carolina State. He averaged 19 a game for the tournament. He added 11 rebounds
and two assists to along with 13-27 shooting, a 48 percent clip.

He joins Nic Simpson of North Carolina A&T, Jason Flager from the Bulldogs and
Reggie Holmes of Morgan State. Kevin Thompson, also of Morgan State, made the team
as the tournament's Most Outstanding Performer. Bears' head man Todd Bozeman was
named the Most Outstanding Coach.
