Sean Richardson named GCAC Player of the Week Ed Cassiere 03/22/10 NEW ORLEANS -- Xavier University of Louisiana's Sean Richardson is the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week in men's tennis for March 15-21.Richardson, a sophomore from Ellenwood, Ga., and a 2008 graduate of Stockbridge High School, was 3-0 in singles and 2-1 in doubles during the weekend and helped the Gold Rush defeat Mobile and Spring Hill to clinch the No. 1 seed for next month's conference tournament. On Sunday, in a 6-1 loss to NCAA Division I opponent Texas-Pan American, Richardson beat Nirvick Mohinta, at the time the reigning Southland Conference Player of the Week, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-6).Richardson, who also won the award in 2009, is 11-6 in singles and 9-5 in doubles this season.
