SU SOCCER TO OPEN AT SOUTHEASTERN Brandon Willis 08/19/09 Baton Rouge, LA – The first Southern University athletic department contest of the 2009-2010 season has changed. Instead of the University of Louisiana at Monroe, the Lady Jaguars will open the year at Southeastern Louisiana University. SU was originally scheduled to open at home but time constraints prevented the two teams from getting together. SLU was not scheduled to see Southern until September 27. Now that date will be open on the Lady Jags schedule. This marks the second time in three years that the Blue and Gold have opened their season at SLU. The game is scheduled for 4:30 pm at the Southeastern Soccer Complex.
