SOCCER WELCOMES PRAIRIE VIEW A&M Baton Rouge, LA – The Southern University Lady Jaguars soccer team will go for their first win of the season as they welcome the Lady Panthers of Prairie View A&M University to Clark Park. This will be their first of two home game s that will be played this week-end. Southern (0-7, 0-4) still has a chance to play in the Southwestern Athletic Conference soccer tournament at the end of the season as none of their loses have come against Western Division teams. This will be the first contest versus a Western foe. Freshmen Merdlyn Matthews and Kendall Smith are leading the Blue and Gold in goals scored but the Lady Jaguars need have to find more offense as they have been out scored 41-5 for the season. The match will be played at Clark Park in Baker, LA. Game time is set for 4:00 p.m. -SU-
