Offensive Player
Sheena Cussen (Miss. Valley State) 5-10, sophomore forward from Ontario,
Canada
In the Devilettes 22-0 record-setting victory at Alabama State, Cussen
scored three goals and added two assists. She totaled 10 shots.
Defensive Player
Zapporah Young (Grambling State) - a freshman defender from Broken
Arrow, OK.
Led a defense that gave up only four goals in three games. Young
collected three assists as she played all defensive positions with the
main responsibility of being an stopper. She also recorded three shots
on goal.
Goal Keeper
Amy Miller (Prairie View A&M) 5-6, junior, from Jones Creek, TX
In two games Amy recorded three saves on six shots to record two shut
outs. She has not given up a goal since September 22nd and is 8-2 on the
season.
