MURFREESBORO – The Chowan Women's Tennis team fell to visiting Christopher Newport University 8-1 on Thursday. Freshman Inesa Asatryan picked up the lone victory for the Hawks in #1 singles. Chowan is now 0-3 on the year, while CNU stands at 1-0. Chowan will head to UNC Pembroke on Saturday to take on the Braves. Start time is set for 2:00pm.
