LADY TROJANS DROP TO SEVENTH IN ATLANTIC REGION

The Virginia State University women's basketball team has dropped two
spots to seventh in the latest NCAA Atlantic Regional Rankings, released
on Wednesday by the NCAA.
 
The rankings are for games through February 14, and do not include
Tuesday night's games.
 
California (Pa.) retains the #1 spot with Indiana (Pa.) remaining at
second. Gannon is third, but Fayetteville State University has moved up
to fourth. The Lady Broncos are followed by Charleston (W.Va.),
Millersville, VSU and District of Columbia.
 
West Liberty State and West Chester round out the top 10. 
 
The top eight teams advance to the NCAA Tournament, and the final
rankings will be revealed on March 8 at 9 p.m.
 
VSU wraps up the regular season with a 5:30 p.m. game against Saint
Paul's College on Thursday night in Daniel Gym.
