Second time junior has received honor.

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. - For the second time this season, April McBride (New Rochelle,
N.Y.) has been Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) women's basketball Player of the
Week. The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) junior has led the Lady Hawks in
points for seven straight contests.

Helping lead UMES to two wins last week, McBride shot 50-percent from the floor, averaging a
double-double of 16.5 points and 12 rebounds. She collected her 10th double-double of the
season in the Lady Hawks win over Norfolk State and finished the week with three seals, two
blocks and two assists.

Freshman Adobi Agbasi (Columbus, Ga.) was named a top performer. In the win over Norfolk
State, she had a career-high 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds.
